All Woodlands Residents are invited to learn about the New Woodlands Country Club on June 15, 2011

We’re ClubLink, the proud new owners of Woodlands Country Club, and we would like to invite all Woodlands residents to join us at the Club on Wednesday, June 15, to learn more about us and our comprehensive plans for the newest member of our family of outstanding golf clubs.

The day will commence at 2:30 p.m. with a reception and food stations featuring the chef’s specialties. An information session conducted by ClubLink senior management will begin at 3 p.m., followed by ClubLink’s vision of the Florida Region. A question and answer period will conclude the day.

There is a scheduled 8:30 a.m. shotgun start for those who would like to enjoy a round of golf prior to the day’s agenda.

The day including golf, carts, food stations and reception are available at no charge to existing Woodlands members as well as any Woodlands residents who may be interested in becoming members of Woodlands and ClubLink.

Please RSVP for the presentation and golf on or before June 8 by contacting Brittney Scott at 1-800-661-1818 ext. 2415 or e-mail

We look forward to meeting you and sharing our vision for Woodlands Country Club and our Florida Region on June 15!

  1. This does not seem like a time that would work into a working person’s schedule. Exactly what type of membership are you looking for? A retired, non working one or one that can take off in the middle of a busy wednesday afternoon to learn how they can spend money on a golf membership.

I don’t think I”ll be rejoining the club because you are sending the exact same message to potential members that the old regime at the Woodlands has always sent.

Perhaps some professional marketing and common sense would help.

  2. I must say that I was very pleased that Clublink was able to purchase the Woodland’s country club, especially with the many challenges and needed improvements it has to make. I am also glad that they are reaching out to not only existing members, but to residents who are not members.

I must agree with ELL, if they truly want to “court” Woodland’s residents to join, then why would they make a schedule that caters to only people who are available on a weekday. Those of us who work should not be expected to take time off just to attend a new membership presentation.

I am hoping that many changes and improvements will be made by Clublink, concerning the lack of up keep of the golf course, the common areas and an affordable social membership. The so called “old regime” is not acceptable, we all know what resulted from that…
