The upcoming venue, simply known as The Fort, is set to break ground near Fort Lauderdale International Airport within Snyder Park. It will feature 43 professional courts, and it is designed to be a comprehensive entertainment space, encompassing a 4,000-square-foot event area, 14 weatherproof courts, and amenities like live music as well as food and drink options. This combination of sports and leisure facilities is expected to attract a wide range of visitors, from serious athletes to families looking for a fun day out.
Mayor Dean Trantalis of Fort Lauderdale expressed his excitement about this unique public-private partnership.
