Miami Beach, Florida – This Women’s History Month, Lummus Park in Miami Beach is hosting a special exhibit to honor ten remarkable women who have made significant contributions to the screen, stage, and music industries. The exhibit, named “Ten Women Superstars,” pays tribute to an exceptional group of female performers who have graced Miami Beach with their talent at various points in their careers.

Among those celebrated are the cabaret singer and social activist Josephine Baker, Miami Beach’s beloved Gloria Estefan, the iconic “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin, Hollywood legend Judy Garland, vocal powerhouse Whitney Houston, pop sensation Madonna, Broadway star Chita Rivera, the ever-glamorous Diana Ross, Barbara Streisand, and Tina Turner.

“These women have defied conventions, shattered barriers, and left an indelible mark on the music industry,” Lynette Long, the chair of the Miami Beach Commission for Women, remarked. This sentiment underscores the exhibit’s aim to not only showcase the achievements of these artists but also inspire visitors with the trails blazed by these superstars.

“Ten Women Superstars” is open to the public 24/7 throughout March, between 13 and 14 streets in Lummus Park. The community and visitors are invited to the official ribbon-cutting on March 8 at noon.
