A Tampa man emerged as the lucky winner of a $1 million prize from the “500X THE CASH” Scratch-Off game, as announced by the Florida Lottery. Abdallah Adlouni chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment in the amount of $820,000.00.

The winning ticket was bought at a Publix store on 4th Street North in St. Petersburg, which is now entitled to a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket. This win highlights the potential of the Florida Lottery’s scratch-off games, which continue to be a significant contributor to the organization’s revenue.

“500X THE CASH” stands out not just for its impressive individual prizes but also for offering the largest top prize ever in a Florida Scratch-Off game at $25 million. With odds at 1-in-4.50, the game is designed to maximize the chances of winning big, further cementing its position as a fan favorite among Florida’s lottery enthusiasts.

Impacting Lives Beyond the Win

Scratch-Off games form an important part of the lottery’s offerings, making up about 72 percent of its ticket sales in the fiscal year 2022-2023. These games have not only awarded over $59.5 billion in prizes but also significantly contributed to the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF), generating more than $18.39 billion.

The Florida Lottery reinvests 99 percent of its revenue back into the state, including prize payouts and commissions to over 13,500 retailers, ensuring a wide-reaching impact that benefits millions of Floridians.
