Broward County plans free World Cup watch parties to bring soccer fans together
Broward County, Florida – Broward County is getting ready to turn international soccer into a community celebration, bringing fans together under the theme “One Game, One Passion, Broward County.” With the 2026 World Cup drawing closer, the county is preparing a series of free public watch parties meant to give residents and visitors a place to share the energy of the world’s game close to home.
The events will be held in partnership with the Florida Panthers at the Arena in Sunrise. Four watch parties are planned, giving families, soccer fans, local businesses, and visitors a chance to enjoy major matches in a lively, welcoming setting without the cost of admission or parking.
“Broward County is proud to help bring the excitement of international soccer to our community,” said Broward County Mayor Mark D. Bogen. “These watch parties create an opportunity for residents, visitors, and local businesses to come together and experience the energy of this historic event right here in Broward County.”

The schedule begins Friday, June 12, 2026, at 9 p.m. with USA vs. Paraguay. It continues Saturday, June 27, at 7:30 p.m. with Colombia vs. Portugal. Broward will also host a watch party for the Quarterfinals on Saturday, July 11, at 5 p.m., followed by The Finals on Sunday, July 19, at 3 p.m.
Parking gates will open two hours before kickoff, while arena doors will open one hour before each match. Attendance and parking are free, but tickets must be reserved through SeatGeek.com or AmerantBankArena.com. Each attendee may reserve up to six tickets.
Outside the main doors, the Plaza will add to the match-day atmosphere with family activities before the games. Food trucks, face painting, inflatables, games, and other activities are expected to help create a festival-style setting before fans head inside.
Broward County Transit will also help residents reach the events. Special Park & Ride service will be offered for the Arena watch parties and designated match transportation hubs. Residents using a BCT One-Day Pass may park for free at select Park & Ride locations, including Miramar, Sheridan Park, and Broward Boulevard. One-way fares are $2, payable with exact fare on board or through the RideBCT mobile app. Watch party service will drop riders at the Express Bus Park & Ride lot inside Gate 7 at the Arena.
Additional transit connections will link Broward residents to World Cup transportation hubs serving matches in Miami Gardens, including routes from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, West Regional Terminal, and the Arena.
“This is an exciting opportunity for Broward County soccer fans, families and businesses to take part in this global celebration close to home,” said Vice Mayor Robert McKinzie. “We are proud to support experiences that bring our community together while showcasing all that Broward County has to offer.”
Local businesses and organizations are also encouraged to host their own viewing events. Through the community toolkit and public viewing portal, they can access guidance on legally and effectively streaming matches for patrons.
