Deerfield Beach, Florida – An incident unfolded in Broward County on Saturday night, leaving one person hospitalized with multiple injuries following a shooting and a subsequent car crash.
Broward Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a crash just after 7 p.m. The report was about a car crash that occurred near the 4300 block of Northwest 9th Avenue in Deerfield Beach. This emergency call prompted a swift response from deputies and the Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue team.
Upon their arrival at the scene, the authorities found the driver suffering from multiple injuries. Paramedics rushed the injured individual to the hospital. However, information regarding the condition of the person was not released.
As authorities discovered the driver had been shot, the investigation was handed over to detectives specializing in violent crimes from BSO’s Violent Crimes Unit.
