Tamarac community invited to interfaith commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 29

Tamarac, Florida – Mayor Michelle J. Gomez and local clergy are inviting the Tamarac community to participate in an interfaith ceremony to honor International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

This special event will be held on Monday, January 29, at 7 p.m. at Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek, located at 5700 NW 94th Ave. It represents a significant moment of unity and reflection, bringing together different faiths to remember one of history’s most tragic periods.

Mayor Michelle J. Gomez of the City of Tamarac will be among the speakers at the event, emphasizing the importance of remembrance and community solidarity. Joining her will be Pastor Bob di Scipio from Hope for All Nations Church, Pastor Bill Davis of Community Christian Church, Pastor Joseph Kim from South Florida Global Methodist Church, and Rabbis Daniela Szuster and Rami Pavolotzky from Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek.

Following the program, attendees will have the opportunity to connect and reflect during a dessert reception sponsored by Mayor Michelle J. Gomez.
