Broward Sheriff’s Office seeks public assistance to locate missing 37-year-old man suffering from autism

Broward County, Florida – The Broward Sheriff’s Office is urgently seeking assistance from the community in finding Alixon Alcindor, a 37-year-old man reported missing since Tuesday afternoon.

Alcindor was last seen on February 20 in the vicinity of the 2800 block of Washington Drive in unincorporated Central Broward. He is described as being approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with a weight of about 150 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on both forearms. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a gray sweatshirt.

A detail provided by a facility counselor highlights Alcindor’s mental health challenges, including a diagnosis of autism. This information raises concerns regarding his well-being and the urgency of locating him as soon as possible.
