Broward Sheriff’s Office seeks public assistance to locate missing Tamarac woman

Tamarac, Florida – The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit requests the public’s help in locating 36-year-old Leslie Ferrer, who has been missing from Tamarac since the afternoon of April 18. Ferrer was last seen around 2:30 p.m. near the 2900 block of Prospect Road.

Leslie Ferrer is described as approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a green shirt and black leggings.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information that could help in locating Ferrer. Detective Chris Blankenship is handling the case and can be contacted at 954-321-4268 for any leads. Additionally, the BSO non-emergency number is available at 954-764-HELP (4357) for anyone who might have seen Ferrer or has information of her whereabouts.

Community members are encouraged to come forward with any details to aid in the safe return of Leslie Ferrer to her family.
