Tamarac, Florida – The City of Tamarac invites residents and visitors to join in the festivities with two special outdoor events to celebrate Independence Day. On Thursday, July 4, the community can enjoy a day full of fun and patriotic activities.
Patriotic Splash at Caporella Aquatic Center
The celebrations kick off at noon with a Patriotic Splash at the Caporella Aquatic Center, located at 9300 NW 58th St. Residents and guests can dive into a red, white, and pool party featuring poolside games, arts and crafts, music, and photo opportunities with characters. The admission fee for this event is $5 per guest, promising a splashing good time for families and friends.
All-American Celebration at Tamarac Sports Complex
The festivities continue in the evening with the All-American Celebration at the Tamarac Sports Complex, situated at 9901 NW 77th St. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., attendees can enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment. The event features food trucks, various vendors, face painting, and arts and crafts stations. Additionally, guests can enjoy an outdoor concert by The Jam Band, a lively nine-person musical group.

The highlight of the evening will be a spectacular fireworks display, set to light up the sky at 9 p.m. The All-American Celebration is free and open to the public. However, for the safety of all guests, personal fireworks, sparklers, tents, large bags, grills, alcohol, glass bottles, and pets are prohibited. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to enhance their outdoor experience.
Parking and Shuttle Information
On-site parking at the All-American Celebration is limited. To accommodate attendees, free event parking is available at Kings Point, 7620 N. Nob Hill Road, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Additionally, continuous free shuttle transportation will be provided from Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Ave., and Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd., from 5:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., with return service following the fireworks. An additional free shuttle will pick up guests from Redeeming Word Church, 2800 Prospect Road, at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.
City Offices Closed for Independence Day
In observance of Independence Day, City of Tamarac offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4.
