City of Tamarac to celebrate the life and contributions of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 13

Tamarac, Florida – The City of Tamarac, in collaboration with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Chi Psi Omega Chapter, is set to host a special event in honor of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This celebration is scheduled for Saturday, January 13, starting at 10 a.m., and promises a blend of education, health resources, and family fun.

Set to take place at Tamarac Park, located at 7501 N. University Drive, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Health Resource Fair and Family Fun Day is an event that aims to celebrate the life and monumental contributions of Dr. King while also providing valuable community resources. The day is set to be lively and engaging, with a variety of activities and amenities planned for attendees of all ages.
