Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to high-speed crash involving two vehicles; drivers in stable conditions

Miami Gardens, Florida – Two people were hospitalized on Monday night as a result of a high-speed crash in Miami Gardens.

The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m., involving a black Infinity and a grey Kia near the intersection of Northwest Fifth Avenue and 177th Street. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to overturn, resulting in significant damage and a consequential power outage in the area as one of the vehicles hit an electric box.

Responders from Miami Gardens Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units arrived quickly at the scene of the accident. According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, fortunately, no one was trapped in the wreckage.

Despite the severity of the crash, the drivers of the vehicles were transported in stable condition to a nearby hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel.

Investigators are currently working to uncover the events that led up to this high-speed crash. Once more details become available, we will update this article.
