Miami, Florida – Miami drivers are facing increased gas prices this week, ending a period of consecutive declines.

As of the latest report, the average cost for a gallon of regular gas in Miami has risen to $3.19. This marks an almost 15-cent (14.9 cents, to be precise) increase compared to last week. The change is significant, as it breaks a trend of falling prices that Miami drivers had been enjoying.

Furthermore, when compared to last month’s figures, the price has gone up by nearly 8 cents (7.6 cents per gallon). Despite this recent hike, it’s noteworthy that Miami’s current gas prices are still lower than last year by a considerable margin of 39.6 cents per gallon.

Variation Across Gas Stations

A survey conducted by GasBuddy, which analyzed 1,690 stations in Miami, revealed a wide range in prices. The survey found that the cheapest gas station in Miami offered fuel at $2.75 per gallon as of Sunday, while the most expensive was significantly higher, at $4.99 per gallon.

This variation in prices across different stations highlights the dynamic nature of the gas market in Miami. Drivers are encouraged to stay informed about the fluctuating prices and to seek out the most cost-effective options for fueling their vehicles.
