Spring Break brings reopening of Broward County water parks across Pembroke Pines, Deerfield Beach and Hollywood
Broward County, Florida – Spring Break in Broward County is bringing the return of splashing water, towering slides, and family-friendly attractions as several popular water parks begin welcoming visitors for the 2026 season.
Beginning March 13 and running through March 22, residents and visitors alike can enjoy daily access to three county-run aquatic destinations, each opening its gates at 10 a.m. for a full day of cooling off and outdoor fun.
Families can choose between Paradise Cove at C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines, Splash Adventure at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach, and Castaway Island at T.Y. Park in Hollywood.
Each location offers a different style of water play, but all are designed with families and children in mind, creating a lively atmosphere filled with slides, splash zones, and interactive attractions.
At Paradise Cove, thrill-seekers will find the centerpiece attraction known as the Paradise Pipeline. The feature includes four towering waterslides rising five stories high, sending riders twisting through corkscrew-style turns before dropping into a plunge pool four feet deep.
The open-body slides stretch between 395 and 430 feet in length, with a strong flow of water pushing riders along for a fast-paced experience. For safety, guests must be at least 42 inches tall, weigh under 250 pounds, and be able to swim. Admission costs $15 for a full day or $10 for those arriving after 3 p.m.
Meanwhile, Splash Adventure at Quiet Waters Park caters especially to younger visitors. The interactive playground features tunnels, slides, spinning valves, wheels, water curtains, and a giant bucket that periodically tips over, sending water cascading across the play area below.
The shallow pool ranges from ground-level entry to just 12 inches deep, allowing younger children to explore comfortably. Lifeguards remain on duty during operating hours, and children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 18 years old. Admission is $6 for a full day or $4.40 after 3 p.m.
At T.Y. Park in Hollywood, Castaway Island offers a Caribbean-inspired aquatic complex centered around a large swimming lagoon.
The attraction includes a multi-level play structure with slides, water cannons, palm-tree features, and rain curtains. Buckets spill water continuously from above while sprays and hoses add to the playful environment.

A separate wading pool designed for toddlers includes water-play animals, mushroom fountains, and other gentle features. Admission is $10 for a full day or $6 after 3 p.m.
All three parks operate from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and until 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays. After the Spring Break period ends on March 22, the parks will reopen on weekends beginning March 28 and continue operating on Saturdays and Sundays through the end of the school year.
Daily summer operations are scheduled to begin June 4 and run through August 16, before returning to weekend-only schedules through late September.

Visitors should note that concessions will be available at each park, but dogs are not permitted inside water park areas. In the event the lightning detection system activates, guests who purchased all-day admission and have been inside the park for less than two hours will receive rain checks. Those entering after 3 p.m. may receive rain checks if they have been inside the park for under one hour when weather interruptions occur.
With slides roaring back to life and splash zones filling with laughter, Broward County’s water parks are once again ready to welcome families looking to beat the heat and make the most of Spring Break.
