Anticipating the Unveiling of “Sunset Hammock”

Despite the postponement, the City of Tamarac remains enthusiastic about unveiling Sunset Hammock, a public art installation designed by Margi Glavovic Nothard. Sunset Hammock seeks to highlight the ecological significance of the Everglades in South Florida and inspire an appreciation for this vital ecosystem. The installation includes a red modular aluminum walkway and a community periscope measuring 20 feet by 3 feet, providing unique views into the Everglades.
