Tamarac asks local businesses to help shape future spending and economic priorities with a chance to win $500
Tamarac, Florida – Tamarac business owners are being asked to do more than simply rate City services. Their answers could help shape where the City puts its attention, resources and money in the years ahead.
The 2026 City of Tamarac Business Survey is now open, giving local business owners and representatives a direct way to weigh in on economic development, long-term planning, City programs and services that affect the business community.
Tamarac conducts the survey every few years to better understand how business leaders view the City’s services and overall direction. This year’s responses will be used to measure whether Tamarac’s strategy, planning and budget priorities line up with what local businesses say matters most.
Business owners and representatives are encouraged to complete every question and provide additional comments when possible. The City says the feedback will help guide future decisions involving its economic development strategy, as well as projects, programs and initiatives that could have an impact on businesses operating in Tamarac.

The survey is available online at TamaracBusiness.org, and participants are being encouraged to respond within the next few days.
Once the survey period moves forward, ETC Institute will compile the responses and prepare a report for the City. That report is expected to be presented in the weeks ahead, giving Tamarac officials a broader picture of how the local business community views current services and future priorities.
There is also an incentive for businesses that participate. After fully completing the survey, respondents will have an opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win a $500 prepaid Visa gift card.
The City emphasized that the survey is intended to produce more than a collection of opinions. The responses are expected to influence decisions about programs, services and investments designed to support economic growth and improve the local business environment.
Questions about the survey can be directed to Ryan Murray, ETC Institute’s project manager, at (913) 254-4598.
For Tamarac’s business community, the survey offers a relatively simple opportunity to speak directly into the City’s planning process. The message from officials is clear: the more businesses that participate, the better Tamarac can understand what companies need as the City plans its next steps.
