Tamarac, Florida – The Tamarac Key Club is set to host a Blood Drive event and is inviting both students and community members to take part in this life-saving initiative.
Important Details for Donors
Scheduled for Thursday, February 1st, the blood drive will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Prospective donors need to sign up using the provided link: https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results. This registration step is required for anyone willing to donate blood.
Requirements for Student Donors
In order to donate, students under the age of 16 must obtain a permission slip from Mrs. Labshere and have their parents sign it. Those who are 17 or older can register directly without needing a permission slip.
Location and Access
The blood drive will be held in the multipurpose gym as usual. However, there is a notable change this year for external community members wishing to donate. They are required to enter through the front main entrance of the facility and check in with Lisa at the front desk.
