Tamarac families to gather March 28 for egg hunts and crafts at Springfest

Tamarac, Florida – Spring will arrive with a burst of color and laughter at the Tamarac Sports Complex as families gather for Peter Cottontail’s Springfest on Saturday, March 28. The free celebration begins at 10 a.m. and runs through noon, transforming the complex at 9901 NW 77th St. into a lively playground of games, crafts and egg hunts designed for children of all ages.
At the center of the morning’s excitement is Peter Cottontail, greeting guests and setting the tone for a cheerful welcome to the season. Children will have the chance to take part in age-grouped egg hunts, giving everyone a fair opportunity to dash across the grass in search of brightly colored treasures. The hunts are structured to keep the pace lively while ensuring a safe and organized experience for families.
Beyond the egg hunts, the event offers a variety of hands-on activities. Spring-themed arts and crafts stations will invite young attendees to create their own seasonal keepsakes, while bounce houses add an energetic twist to the festivities. Lawn games and other family-friendly activities round out the entertainment, keeping the morning moving with constant activity.
Food vendors and trucks will also be on site, offering treats and refreshments for purchase. The combination of playful attractions and convenient food options gives families a reason to linger and enjoy the atmosphere long after the last egg has been found.
