Tamarac, Florida – Big news is moving through Tamarac, and for residents thinking about college, a trade program or the next step in their career path, it could arrive at just the right time.
The City of Tamarac has opened applications for the Tamarac Scholarship Fund, a local program created to help residents move forward with education and job training. The effort is built around a simple idea: when people are given support to learn, train and grow, the entire community becomes stronger.

Through the program, eligible Tamarac residents may receive scholarships of up to $2,500. The money is available for residents attending two-year colleges, four-year colleges or universities, as well as trade schools.
That means the fund is not limited to one kind of student or one kind of dream. It can support a resident working toward a degree, learning a skilled trade or preparing for a new career.
The city’s focus is clear.

The Tamarac Scholarship Fund is meant to empower residents by offering financial assistance for educational and career development. For many families, even a smaller scholarship can help reduce the pressure of tuition, school-related costs or training expenses. For students, it can also serve as a reminder that their city is invested in their future.
To qualify, applicants must live in the City of Tamarac.
They also must complete the required application and provide the proper documents, including proof of Tamarac residency and an acceptance letter from the school or program they plan to attend. Proof of school enrollment is also part of the application process.

The process is designed to keep everything organized by district while making the opportunity available across the city. Residents should review the requirements carefully, gather their documents and submit the correct online application.
