Fort Lauderdale, Florida – The newest dining and entertainment venue Fort Lauderdale opened is Marina Village at Bahia Mar. Situated on the stunning Intracoastal Waterway, a stone’s throw from the ocean, this $16 million open-air facility enhances the city’s rich food and beverage scene.
Launched on Thursday, September 5, Marina Village turns an otherwise underused location once occupied by fishing charter boat slips into a hive of activity. A floating lounge, the venue boasts a distinctive multi-level ferry called the Shorely. This location by itself can host up to 500 people and features three bars, VIP cabanas, and a schedule of weekly events ranging from weekend day parties to ladies’s nights.
Marina Village’s varied and delicious cuisine meets a range of palates and preferences. Among the gastronomic treasures are Sushi Song, a well-known neighborhood chain run by Chef Wijai “Song” Ketsuwan. Though tiny, this Marina Village site is the 11th brand location. Still, it offers a complete menu with several special dishes as the fiery “Japan Red Hot” roll and the “A1A Signature” roll, which calls for Maine lobster.
From Taco Vibez’s Mexican cuisine to Blue Steel Pizza Co.’s Detroit-style pizza, visitors may enjoy a great range of meals in a section known as “The Promenade,” which has more dining options. Other dishes include fresh garden bowls, yip’s dim food, Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls, burgers and shakes, and quore Gelato.
Along with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, the venue’s Mainland Bar presents more than a dozen cocktail options. Highlight beverages include the tropical “Booby Trap,” a mix of brugal 1888 rum, banana, mango, almond orgeat, and lime, ingeniously served in a bikini-inspired cup; the “Paddle Party,” a peachy, lemony concoction of Grey Goose served distinctively on a boat paddle.

Apart from its immediate appeal, the Marina Village is a component of a bigger development project including the neighboring Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel. Two condominium towers, around 250 new boat spaces, and over 90,000 square feet of commercial space are among future additions.
