Miami, Florida – A car accident in Miami on Monday night resulted in the hospitalization of four individuals, all aged between 17 and 20 years.
The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of 16th Avenue and South Dixie Highway. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to discover that a white Mini had collided with a tree, trapping four people inside the vehicle.
Miami Fire Rescue swiftly acted to extract the victims from the wrecked car. All four individuals were then rushed to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. They are reportedly in serious condition, but are expected to survive.
The accident also involved a second vehicle, whose occupants, fortunately, did not sustain any injuries. Miami police are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of this crash.
