The 9th annual conference, presented as a service of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners through the Office of Economic and Small Business Development, will take place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Broward County Convention Center East Expansion in Fort Lauderdale. This year’s theme, “Businesses Are the Heart of Our Economy,” reflects the county’s focus on opening doors for business owners at every stage, from early planning to expansion. More than 1,500 participants have already registered, showing strong interest in an event built around access, learning, and connection.

The program will feature ABC-TV talk show host, entrepreneur, and master teacher Dr. Adolph “Doc” Brown III as keynote speaker. Constance Jones, a two-time Emmy-nominated journalist with NBC6-TV, will serve as event host. Wells Fargo, the conference’s Grand Sponsor, is also expected to make an announcement important to small businesses.

“The Broward & Beyond Business Conference is one of the best events for businesses of all sizes because it provides yet another means of access to the free County and community partner resources, educational programs, and services important to the success of our businesses, entrepreneurs, and residents,” said OESBD Director Maribel Feliciano.

“The Broward County Board of County Commissioners provides innovative initiatives and programs in support of Broward-based businesses and residents through events like BBBC. Attendees will learn about the Broward Mobility Advancement Program (MAP Broward), government procurement and capital project opportunities, access to capital, film and television productions, and more.”
