New Downtown Pompano Beach project moves forward with request for City Hall construction proposals

Pompano Beach, Florida – Plans for a new civic centerpiece in Downtown Pompano Beach are moving forward as the project’s master developer begins the search for a construction team to bring the vision to life.
RocaPoint Partners, operating as RP Pompano, LLC, has formally released a Request for Proposals seeking qualified firms to build the city’s future City Hall along with a companion parking deck.
The effort is being carried out in coordination with the City of Pompano Beach and the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, marking another milestone in the long-planned redevelopment of the downtown district.

The selected contractor will oversee construction of both the municipal building and the parking structure, which together are expected to serve as a key civic focal point in the area’s evolving landscape.
Officials say the project will help strengthen the downtown core, creating a centralized location for government services while also supporting increased activity, business growth, and community engagement.
City leaders and project partners view the new City Hall as more than just an administrative facility. Positioned within the broader “New Downtown” redevelopment effort, the building and its accompanying parking deck are intended to anchor future development and provide the infrastructure needed to support a more vibrant and accessible urban center.
Companies interested in serving as the project’s general contractor must hold the appropriate construction licenses in the State of Florida. RocaPoint Partners is inviting qualified firms to review the full Request for Proposals package and submit their plans for the project.
All proposals must be delivered electronically and sent to [email protected] no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, April 10, 2026. Submissions received after that deadline will not be considered as part of the selection process.
The complete RFP document is available for download in PDF format at the Downtown Pompano Beach project website, allowing prospective bidders to review project requirements and submission guidelines in detail.
In addition to the search for a general contractor, local construction companies interested in participating as subcontractors are also being encouraged to get involved. Firms wishing to assist with the City Hall or parking deck construction can register their interest through the Downtown Pompano Beach participation portal and complete the designated form.
With the RFP now open, the process of selecting the team that will construct one of the city’s most anticipated public projects has officially begun, signaling another step forward in the ongoing transformation of Downtown Pompano Beach.
