BCAA to host its first-ever event honoring the achievements of female athletes

Pompano Beach, Florida – The Broward County Athletic Association (BCAA) is set to host an event dedicated to honoring the achievements of female athletes from its high schools and middle schools. For the first time, the BCAA is organizing Female Athlete Night, an evening poised to shine a light on the hard work, dedication, and success of 2,000 female athletes who are part of the association.

Scheduled for Friday, March 15, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., this event will be held at Pompano Beach High School, located at 600 N.E. 13th Ave., Pompano Beach, FL 33060. Attendees can expect an atmosphere filled with energy, inspiration, and community spirit.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the presence of guest speakers, including Olympic gold medal runner Kendall Ellis. Ellis, along with special guests, will share their inspiring journeys, highlighting the importance of playing “Like a Girl—with Grit, Integrity, Resilience, and Leadership.”
