Early release day gets structured fun with Kids Day Out in Tamarac on Feb. 13

Tamarac, Florida – Families who want an organized and fun option for early release day can sign their kids up for Kids Day Out: Early Release Edition. This one-day activity will keep kids active, supervised, and delighted from early afternoon till evening.
The event will take place on Friday, February 13, from 12:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. It is for kids aged 7 to 12 and takes place at the Tamarac Recreation Center, which is at 7501 N. University Drive. All drop-offs will happen in the Tropical Room, where staff will be there to greet participants and help them get ready for the afternoon.
Families will have some time to drop off their kids between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m., which gives them some freedom after school. The group will have lunch after everyone is there. Kids will be able to relax, eat, and talk to one other before the afternoon festivities start at 1:30 p.m. when pizza and drinks will be given.

A coordinated trip to Monster Mini Golf will be one of the best parts of the day. At 3:00 p.m., a bus will leave Tamarac Park and take the group to a different venue for an afternoon of games and fun with friends. The trip is set up so that kids may see new places while still being part of a supervised program.
The bus will return to Tamarac Park at 6:00 p.m. after the field trip. Parents and guardians can pick up their kids there. It costs $25 per child to take part, and there isn’t much room. Organizers want families to sign up early so that they may be sure to have a full afternoon of activities, socializing, and a planned outing just for early release day.
