LAST CALL: Families invited to celebrate local heroes at Boots & Beats for Our Brave in Coconut Creek

Broward County, Florida – On Sunday, November 9, from 1 to 5 p.m., Broward County families are invited to Tradewinds Park and Stables in Coconut Creek for the “Boots & Beats for Our Brave” celebration. This is a chance to celebrate local heroes. The Parks Foundation of Broward County and the Parks Special Populations Section are putting on the free event to bring the community together to honor the men and women who have served in the military.
The Pin Ceremony at 3 p.m. will be a big part of the day’s events. It’s a long-standing tradition that lets residents thank veterans in person for their bravery, dedication, and sacrifices. The ceremony is meant to honor the service of people from all branches of the military and provide family and friends a chance to get together and say thank you.
