Late night kitchen fire in Bay Harbor Islands prompted response from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews

Bay Harbor Islands, Florida – A late Tuesday night fire at a Bay Harbor Islands apartment prompted a swift response from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units. The incident occurred in a building located at the intersection of 103rd Street and West Bay Harbor Drive.

The fire, which originated in the kitchen of a unit on the second floor, required the efforts of 50 firefighters to be controlled. According to fire rescue officials, their timely intervention successfully confined the damage to the kitchen area. During the operation, several fire trucks were seen positioned outside the building.

Currently, the cause of the fire remains unknown, as authorities have not provided any information. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident.

Following the incident, the American Red Cross stepped in to assist two people who had been affected by the fire.
