Switch Together initiative offers Pompano Beach residents big savings on solar panels through July 30

Pompano Beach, Florida – Thanks to a new local cooperation that aims to make sustainable energy more accessible, Pompano Beach residents can now save money on converting to solar electricity for a limited period. The Switch Together program lets eligible homes join a neighborhood group-buying effort that cuts the cost of installing solar panels significantly. But anyone who want to join up need to do so quickly; the deadline is Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

This program is for those in Pompano Beach who want to power their houses with sunlight. The city has worked with Solar United Neighbors, a nationwide nonprofit, to make it happen. Switch Together helps people save an average of $9,192 on a top-of-the-line solar setup by combining the buying power of all the residents. The offer becomes even better when you add in the federal solar tax credit, which lets homeowners get back 30% of the cost of their installation in tax savings.

Homeowners can choose other features like battery storage systems and electric vehicle chargers in addition to solar panels. All of these items are installed by properly selected and licensed personnel. The city and its nonprofit partner are making sure that every installation fulfills rigorous criteria for safety, longevity, and efficiency.

Beyond the financial perks, the program is designed to educate and empower. Residents can go to free online webinars and events in their area to learn more about solar technology, how to become energy independent, and how the whole process works. The goal of these seminars is to make solar energy more transparent and the switch easier for people who are new to it.

Perhaps the best part? You don’t have to pay anything to take part, and you don’t have to buy anything. Residents can sign up, get personalized information and quotes, and decide later if they want to move forward. But they have to sign up by July 30 to get access to the program’s exclusive prices and materials.
