Tamarac brings new shopping and garment care options to University Drive with Saturday morning celebration
Tamarac, Florida – Tamarac residents will have two more reasons to shop close to home this weekend, as the city prepares to welcome two local businesses with a community celebration, special offers and an opportunity to meet the people behind the storefronts.
One business is carrying forward a familiar jewelry tradition with six independent vendors under one roof. The other brings more than four decades of garment care experience to the community.
The City of Tamarac is inviting residents to a joint ribbon-cutting ceremony for New Jewelry Exchange and Sunshine State Dry Cleaners on Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event will take place at 6730 and 6734 N. University Drive.
Visitors can enjoy refreshments and pastries while exploring the businesses and learning about their services. New Jewelry Exchange will also offer a special 10% discount during the celebration.
For New Jewelry Exchange, the opening represents more than another retail addition. The business brings together six experienced, independent jewelry vendors who aim to continue the legacy of the original Jewelry Exchange while offering personalized service to Tamarac customers.
The participating vendors are Marty and Son’s Jewelry, White Diamonds, Ray’s Jewelry Clinic, Jewelry Masters & Watch Repair, TJ Jeweler and Pyramid Jewelry.
Together, they provide jewelry sales and related services in one location. The business also purchases gold and silver, giving customers another local option for selling precious metals.
Sunshine State Dry Cleaners, meanwhile, is introducing its garment care services backed by more than 40 years of industry experience.
The Tamarac-based business provides dry cleaning, laundry services, alterations and repairs, along with specialized care for wedding gowns and other special-occasion garments.
A key feature of its services is the use of eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning solutions. The company also emphasizes personalized customer care, combining its experience with cleaning options intended to be environmentally conscious.
The upcoming ceremony offers residents a chance to discover both businesses while supporting Tamarac’s local commercial community.
Although the two establishments serve different needs, both are emphasizing experienced service and direct relationships with customers.
The city is encouraging residents to attend the Saturday morning celebration, meet the businesses and take advantage of the event’s offerings.
With refreshments, a special jewelry discount and two businesses to explore, the one-hour gathering will mark the official welcome of New Jewelry Exchange and Sunshine State Dry Cleaners to the Tamarac community.
