Tamarac invites families to celebrate July 4 with a festive splash at Caporella Aquatic Center

Tamarac, Florida – On Friday, July 4, the City of Tamarac is inviting families and residents to dive into Independence Day festivities with a splash—literally. The Caporella Aquatic Center will be the place to be for anyone who wants to cool off, have fun, and celebrate the red, white, and blue at the annual Patriotic Splash event.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and promises a wonderful combination of poolside activities and patriotic energy. This midday festival is a fun way to start your Fourth of July, whether you’re a resident or just visiting for the holiday. It will be over before the fireworks start at night.

Organized by the Tamarac Parks and Recreation Department, Patriotic Splash is open to guests of all ages. Entry is $5 per person, whether child or adult, making it an affordable outing for families and groups. The event will be laid-back, but people are asked to bring their best patriotic clothes. Red, white, and blue swimsuits, caps, or accessories are all welcome.

The Caporella Aquatic Center at 9300 Northwest 58th Street has a lot of fun things to do, like pools and water play areas that are great for kids of all ages. Even though the exact activities haven’t been announced yet, previous events have included games, water relays, and interactive fun to keep the crowd interested and entertained.

Event planners have said that people can get their money back up to seven days before the event, which gives them some freedom in planning. And with the celebration taking place during the heart of summer, families are advised to bring sunscreen, towels, and plenty of energy for a fun-filled few hours under the Florida sun.
