Tamarac invites residents to ride for kindness at District 3 community bike event on January 17

Tamarac, Florida – District 3 Commissioner Krystal Patterson is inviting people in Tamarac to start their Saturday with activity, connection, and a common commitment to compassion at an upcoming community bike ride. K.I.N.D. stands for “Krystal Inspires Neighborly Deeds.” It’s a citywide program that aims to spread good vibes, health, and closer links amongst neighbors.
The free event will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Tamarac Sports Complex, located at 9901 NW 77th Street. People are requested to check in and activities by 8 a.m. The group ride will officially start at 8:30 a.m. You may sign up online, and organizers say it’s best to do it ahead of time.
The ride will take people through different areas in Tamarac. It will be a relaxing and friendly way to see the city while promoting kindness and respect for others. Riders will help bring attention to small businesses along the way and strengthen the sense of community that municipal leaders say is at the heart of Tamarac’s identity.
In addition to the bike ride, there will be wellness activities, music, freebies, and a positive mood in the morning to welcome people of all ages and fitness levels. People who don’t own bikes can still utilize them at the event because they will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
