Arts Launch Broward returns with nearly 90 organizations and three hours of free performances on October 4

Broward County, Florida – For one Sunday in October, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts will become more than a stage. Nearly 90 arts and cultural organizations are expected to fill the venue, giving visitors a wide-ranging preview of what Broward County’s next cultural season has to offer.
Arts Launch Broward 2026 will take place Sunday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 SW 5th Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Presented by the Broward Cultural Division, the three-hour event is free and designed for visitors of all ages.

Throughout the Broward Center, guests will be able to move between live music, dance, theater and multidisciplinary performances while meeting artists and representatives from organizations across the county. Participating groups will also provide information about upcoming performances, exhibitions, festivals, classes and other programs planned for the new season.

Activities will be spread across several areas of the venue, including the JM Family Studio, the Amaturo Theater lobbies and the Abdo New River Room. Interactive art activities, creative demonstrations and artist showcases will give visitors opportunities to do more than simply watch performances.
The event is also intended as a way for residents to discover cultural programs they may not have encountered before. With nearly 90 organizations gathered in one location, visitors can explore a broad selection of arts opportunities without traveling across Broward County to find them individually.

Arts Launch Broward will coincide with Fort Lauderdale’s Jazz Brunch along the Riverwalk. One of the Jazz Brunch stages will be located at the Peck Courtyard at the Broward Center, creating an additional live-music stop for people spending Sunday in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Admission to Arts Launch Broward is free, although advance registration is encouraged. The event runs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
