BSO calls for community help to locate missing man in Broward County

Dania Beach, Florida – The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit is seeking assistance from the public to help find Michael Metzler, a 55-year-old man who was reported missing.

Michael was last seen around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, in the area of the 400 block of East Sheridan Street in Dania Beach. Michael has blonde hair and hazel eyes, stands 6 feet 3 inches tall, and weighs about 240 pounds. He has a tribal-style tattoo on his right arm and a distinctive tattoo of Darth Vader on his back.

His family has expressed concern for his well-being, noting that Michael suffers from depression and anxiety, which adds urgency to the search.
