BSO detectives located missing Tamarac woman

Tamarac, Florida – The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit has successfully located 36-year-old Leslie Ferrer, who was reported missing from Tamarac since the afternoon of April 18.

Ferrer was last seen around 2:30 p.m. near the 2900 block of Prospect Road. Leslie Ferrer was described as approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a green shirt and black leggings.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office issued a missing persons alert on Sunday, April 21, mobilizing community members and resources in the search for Ferrer. The detectives were keen on gathering any information that could assist in locating her.

Fortunately, according to investigators, Ferrer was found safe and unharmed in Hollywood.
