Miami-Dade welcomes new mixed-use apartment complex in South Miami

South Miami, Florida – Miami-Dade County is set to celebrate the grand opening of SoMi Parc, a new transit-oriented, mixed-use apartment complex, on Tuesday, April 30, at 10 a.m. Commissioner Raquel Regalado will join Related Urban Development for the grand opening ceremony.

Innovative Housing Development

Located at 5961 SW 68 Street, South Miami, FL 33143, SoMi Parc is designed to meet the needs of modern urban living with a focus on sustainability and accessibility. The complex boasts 172 units that include a mix of studios, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments.

This new development offers eighty new workforce units specifically for individuals earning 60% to 80% of the area median income (AMI), with the aim of enhancing the living standards for workforce members.

SoMi Parc features a plethora of amenities, such as garage-covered parking, a bike storage room, and electric parking stations. There is also a fully wired business center equipped with a conference room and individual workspaces. Health and wellness enthusiasts will appreciate the state-of-the-art fitness center and large green spaces that include a passive green Zen deck. Pet owners will find the dog park a welcome addition.

Art and culture receive special attention at SoMi Parc, with museum-quality artwork embellishing the common areas and a public art installation to inspire residents and visitors alike.

Adjacent to the property is Marshall Williamson Park, offering new playgrounds, tennis courts, and picnic areas for family-friendly recreation. Adding to the community-oriented approach is the upcoming Somerset Pre-Kindergarten school, scheduled to open for the 2024/2025 school year.
