Online training series helps vendors prepare for Broward County’s new BMS system

Broward County, Florida – Local businesses can learn how to use Broward County’s new Business Management System (BMS) for free before it goes online. Broward County is putting on a three-part online training series to help businesses learn how to use the system, keep track of their accounts, and stay up to date on county possibilities.
The BMS, which is powered by B2Gnow, should help the county do a better job of managing contracts, making sure workers are following the rules, planning events, and working with vendors. The official launch is set for January, and officials are urging all companies that work with the county or plan to do so to take advantage of the training sessions.
The first class will be on Monday, December 1, and it will be about basic learning. People will be shown how to do things like set up a vendor profile, log in, and change their account settings on the new platform. Organizers said this presentation is especially helpful for merchants who want to be ready to use the system without any problems when it goes live.
The second virtual session is scheduled for Thursday, December 4. It will focus on getting small businesses certified. People who come will learn how to apply for and renew credentials directly through the BMS. The new system is supposed to make this process faster.
The last session of the series will take place on December 8, Monday. This part will cover about two important tasks: sending in monthly usage reports and checking payments. The training will also show vendors how to sign up for future events and outreach notifications, which will make sure that participants know about new opportunities.
All interested vendors can now sign up. There are also plans for more workshops in January 2026, which will provide firms even more chances to learn about the new system.
Broward County is asking businesses to join the free seminars, ask questions, and get ready for a smoother process ahead, as BMS is set to become a primary hub for vendor activity.
