Rep. Lisa Dunkley to host holiday food distribution on December 20 for District 97 families

Tamarac, Florida – State Rep. Lisa Dunkley is asking those who live in House District 97 to a special holiday food distribution to help families as the holiday season is getting closer. The event will be held on Saturday, December 20. It will be a simple and friendly approach for people in the area to get important things during a hectic time of year.
The distribution will take place at Strong Tower Church, which is at 7500 Southgate Boulevard in North Lauderdale, from 9 to 11 a.m. The organizers have set up the event so that it is a drive-through, which means that volunteers may load food directly into the trunks of cars that arrive. The goal is to make the procedure swift, organized, and open to everyone that comes.
Families that want to make the most of the chance will feel a feeling of urgency because supplies will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is part of a bigger effort to reduce holiday stress and make sure that people in the community receive help when they need it most.
