Tamarac to host major job fair connecting veterans and local residents with top employers

Tamarac, Florida – The 13th Annual Paychecks for Patriots Job Fair is quickly approaching up, and CareerSource Broward is getting ready for one of the biggest recruiting events in the area. This is a great chance for job searchers to meet directly with big companies in South Florida. The Tamarac Community Center, at 8601 W. Commercial Boulevard in Tamarac, will host the event on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The job fair is accessible to the public and is meant to help veterans, military spouses, and caregivers find meaningful work. From 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., the first hour of the fair is only for veterans and their family. This is to honor their service and give them first dibs on jobs with prospective businesses. After that, the event will be open to anyone looking for a job who is eager to go up in their profession.

Participants will be able to meet in person with leading employers who have hundreds of available openings in a variety of fields. CareerSource Broward wants people who go to the event to dress properly and bring copies of their resumes so they can make a good first impression. There will be free professional services on-site to help people looking for work, such as headshots, haircuts, résumé reviews, and printing.

Courtesy shuttles will be provided to ensure easy access to the event, with transportation available from all three CareerSource Broward centers:

  • North Center: 4941 Coconut Creek Parkway, Coconut Creek
  • Central Center: 2610 West Oakland Park Boulevard, Oakland Park
  • South Center: 7550 Davie Road Extension, Hollywood

Tamarac City Hall will have extra parking, and Broward County Transit will help with other mobility alternatives.
