Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood airport gears up for major hiring event on August 27

Broward County, Florida – The 4th Annual Job Fair at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is coming up later this month. The event will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Broward County Convention Center, in the Grand Floridian Ballroom on the third floor. Organizers said that the event will bring together a lot of different employers who work at or near the airport.
This year’s event is meant to show off job openings in a lot of different fields that are related to airport services. The employment fair will show off jobs for those with a wide range of skills and backgrounds, from airlines and passenger support to retail stores, restaurants, law enforcement, and even federal agencies. There will also be jobs in security, transportation, parking, concessions, and cleaning. There will be openings for both full-time and part-time work.
Attendees should get ready ahead of time to get the most out of it. Organizers say you should bring a government-issued photo ID and a few copies of your résumé. Job searchers will also be able to go to breakout sessions that are planned at certain periods in the morning. These sessions will cover things like how to write a good résumé, how to be ready for an interview, and how to look professional and act professionally at work.
The Broward County Aviation Department, which runs both Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and North Perry Airport, is helping with the endeavor along with the various businesses who rent space at both airports. Some jobs are listed on the Broward County Human Resources Division’s website, but others are handled directly by the airlines, concessionaires, and service companies. Job seekers should look at FLL’s Tenant Directory for further information on how to apply to certain organizations.
You may now sign up for the event online at FLLJobFair2025.eventbrite.com. People who sign up ahead of time can get a seat and park for free at the conference center. Organizers are highlighting how important it is to dress professionally while meeting potential employers to make a good first impression.
