Florida man arrested for a video with violent threats against President Trump: “Donald Trump is the Antichrist”

Florida – In a shocking incident out of St. Lucie County, Florida, a 42-year-old man named Kendal Aaron Todd was arrested on Monday for severe threats directed against President Trump. Local police enforcement said that Todd challenged the president to a death duel and declared himself the legitimate president of the United States in a scary video he uploaded on social media.
The video, which lasted about 80 seconds, had a tirade in which Todd fiercely attacked President Trump, calling him the “Antichrist” and blaming him for world tragedies.
“Because of Donald Trump, every single person in the world is cursed,” Todd claimed in the now deleted video, lacing his speech with expletives. He also accused the president of making business decisions harmful to “many different reincarnated Jesuses,” a statement that puzzled viewers and authorities alike.
Under Sheriff Richard Del Torro, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office moved fast after the video surfaced online. Del Torro said that Todd’s behavior had been getting worse over time, catching the watchful eyes of the U.S. Secret Service as well as local police.
“He just kept escalating his behavior,” Del Toro said. “He got the attention obviously of the United States Secret Service — and that got our attention.”
Since law enforcement had been keeping an eye on Todd even before to the incident, questions regarding his mental health had been mounting. Neighbors also reported a change in his behavior; they saw law enforcement presence at his house numerous times before the arrest. After the threatening video came to light, the authorities handled the threat seriously, thus the decision to send a SWAT team was taken right away.
“It’s just very concerning for us,” he added. “Some of the things that have happened in the past to our president. We want to make sure we’re not leaving anything to chance.”
“This was obviously flagged by the United States Secret Service,” Sheriff Richard Del Torro added.
“We worked with them to obtain the arrest warrant and the search warrant today. Got there today again, the SWAT team was there. We were in full force. We’re not messing around, obviously, with threats of suicide by cop and things like that, threats to our president. We weren’t letting any taking any chances, and we’re not going to put our deputies’ lives at risk, so it’s a high-risk situation,” Del Torro told WPTV.

Todd now faces charges of making a written threat to kill or do bodily harm. His bond was set at $500,000, reflecting the severity of the threats and the potential risk he posed. The swift response from law enforcement underscores the gravity of threats made against public figures and the robust measures in place to protect them.
