Teacher attacked by two students in Broward County

Broward County, Florida – Two students from Dillard High School are facing serious legal trouble after allegedly assaulting a teacher on campus. According to an arrest affidavit obtained by Local 10 News, the attack took place on Thursday afternoon and resulted in injuries to the victim.
Authorities say the incident unfolded around 2 p.m. when 19-year-olds Jayvis McClover and Roddrick McQueen approached the teacher and issued threats before launching a violent assault. According to Fort Lauderdale police, the suspects struck the educator, knocking him to the ground, and continued punching him as he attempted to defend himself. The situation was eventually brought under control by school security personnel.

The teacher sustained multiple injuries, including facial swelling, bruising, and back pain, as documented in the police report. Officials have not released any information regarding what may have led to the confrontation.
Both McClover and McQueen have been charged with battery on an educational employee. Jail records indicate that McClover’s bond has been set at $15,000, while McQueen is currently being held without bond at the Broward Main Jail.
