Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Dania Beach transform into art hubs for IGNITE Festival from February 14–23

Broward County, Florida – South Florida is set to sparkle with creativity and innovation as the IGNITE Broward Festival returns for its 2025 edition, promising to be an even more spectacular celebration of light, sound, and art than ever before. From February 14–23, Broward County will host the fourth annual festival with over 30 captivating displays of light and technology dispersed over three separate sites: Arts Park at Young Circle in downtown Hollywood, Mad Arts in Dania Beach, and Esplanade Park and Riverwalk in Fort Lauderdale.

The longest festival thus far, this one presents an ambitious range of large-scale projection mappings, interactive light sculptures, and sound-based experiences. Families as well as art lovers should definitely check out this event since more than 24 local, national, and international artists will present their works. Among the highlights are works by well regarded painters Javier Riera and Daniel Popper. While Riera’s light interventions on landscapes encourage audiences to see the world through a lens of wonder and tranquility, Popper is famous for his large, captivating figures that turn surroundings into mystical settings.

Designed by the Broward Cultural Division and run by Mad Arts, the festival keeps its goal of making art available to all by granting public free admittance. Underlining the community’s dedication to provide a welcoming cultural environment, this project is backed by the City of Hollywood, Visit Lauderdale, and the City of Dania Beach.
