Miami Beach set to host the seventh annual Hyundai Air & Sea Show this Memorial Day weekend

Share

Miami, Beach, Florida – This Memorial Day weekend, Miami Beach will host the exhilarating Hyundai Air & Sea Show, bringing high-flying aerobatics back to the city’s skies. Set for Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, 2024, this annual spectacle draws crowds to the city’s shores for a display of precision and skill by the brave men and women of the armed forces.

“It’s hard not to feel a wave of patriotism and pride come over you as the jets fly overhead and you reflect on when 500,000 servicemen and servicewomen passed through Miami Beach during World War II,” said Miami Beach Interim City Manager Rickelle Williams. The event, now in its seventh year, promises to be a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by military personnel throughout history.

Anticipation is high, as thousands are expected to flock to Miami Beach, taking advantage of the city’s vibrant atmosphere and extensive amenities. Hotels, restaurants, and public spaces are preparing for an influx of visitors, ensuring that the holiday weekend will be memorable for both residents and tourists.

To accommodate the large crowds and enhance the experience, the city has implemented a comprehensive and coordinated major events plan. This approach aims to ensure safety and enjoyment for all attendees, making this year’s Hyundai Air & Sea Show not just a celebration of military prowess but also a testament to Miami Beach’s commitment to hosting large public events.
